Coastal Custom Wood Works was founded on a simple conviction: the woodwork in your home should be treated as an investment, not an afterthought. Based in New Bern, we serve homeowners and builders across the Coastal Carolina region with cabinetry, trim, and built-ins that are designed, fabricated, and finished right here.

Every piece leaves our shop with a signature we wouldn't put our own name on. That means tight joinery, honest materials, and finishes that look as intentional from the inside of a drawer as they do from the front.

Consultation

We meet at your home to discuss your vision, measure your space, and understand how you actually live in it. No pressure, no assumptions.

Design & Material Selection

You'll choose your wood, finish, and hardware from samples we bring to you. We draft plans so you know exactly what you're getting before a single cut is made.

Fabrication

Your pieces are built in our New Bern shop. We handle every joint, edge, and finish by hand — no shortcuts, no rush jobs.

Installation & Finish

We install, adjust, and inspect every piece in your home. You walk away with woodwork that fits perfectly and looks like it was always meant to be there.

They took the time to understand what we actually needed — not what looked good on a catalog page. The kitchen cabinets they built for us are the most well-made thing in our 1940s bungalow, and they look like they belonged there all along.
